Adipurush, starring Prabhas, is the most recent movie that has caused chaos. Om Raut, director of the acclaimed film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, has adapted the Indian epic Ramayana for the big screen. Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan portrayed the evil Ravanasura, while Kriti Sanon portrayed Sita.
This masterwork was supported by T-Series and Retrophiles. Adipurush opened today to a flurry of publicity and excitement among the film’s devoted audience. Let’s see if the film actually is as good as everyone says it is.

Story:
Adipurush highlights the Ramayana’s Yuddha Kanda. Raghava (Prabhas), also known as Lord Rama, is exiled from Ayodhya for 14 years when his father, King Dasaratha, orders it. Kaikeyi, Dasaradha’s younger wife and Bharata’s mother, asks for Lord Rama to be dispatched to the jungle so that her son can assume the throne.
Lord Rama’s exile is accompanied by Sita (Kriti Sanon), also known as Janaki, and Seshu (Sunny Singh), also known as Lakshmana. When Rama and Seshu are distracted by a miraculous deer, the demon king Ravana (Saif Ali Khan) kidnaps Sita. Lord Rama defeats Ravana and rescues Sita after meeting Hanuman (Devdatte Naga) later in the film.
Added Bonuses
:
Prabhas is one of the few modern actors capable of convincingly portraying legendary or period characters. Adipurush exudes an unrivalled air of nobility, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing Lord Sri Rama. The PAN-India star’s charisma, body language, and speech delivery are all top notch, and he is a wonderful fit for the role of Lord Rama. His screen presence and the ease with which he delivers lengthy monologues are formidable.
Saif Ali Khan is yet another fortunate event in Adipurush’s life. It was a tall order for the casting staff to find an actor who could hold their own opposite Prabhas, but they pulled it off well with Saif Ali Khan. The film’s star actor gives a stunning performance as Lankesh (Ravanasura) and makes the movie even more intense. Saif Ali Khan gives a terrific performance that earns him major kudos.
Kriti Sanon, who has previously only portrayed gorgeous characters, takes on the difficult part of Janaki/Sita and succeeds brilliantly. Kriti’s divine appearance and mature performance enrich the story. The Marathi actor Devdatte Nage gave a powerful performance as Lord Hanuman. Acceptable candidates include Sunny Singh, Vatsal Sheth, and Sonal Chauhan.
Drama is Om Raut’s forte, and he handled the first half of the film very efficiently. In the first hour, we see numerous well-realized scenes, such as Jatayu’s battle with Ravana, Hanuman’s introduction to Rama, Sugriva’s confrontation with Vaali, and Hanuman’s torching of Lanka. Audience members will recognise these elements, but they will be intrigued by Om Raut’s presentation. The songs by the Ajay-Atul team are, to put it mildly, excellent, and the score has really improved the film.
